New Zealanders r th best sailors in the world - Team New Zealand, Alinghi, BMW Oracle. All full of kiwis and all top world class teams swiss r land locked they don't sail. Money talks thats all.

LOL. Not if you're going at the speed limit!

One thing you might not know, the Swiss didn't totally win it in the sense that they had all the best talent or everyone Swiss all the skills to produce such a fast yacht. A majority of the team were taken from the last winning team, yep, Team New Zealand. It's not so much a Swiss victory but a Swiss-Kiwi victory. They wouldn't have made it to the finals without New Zealand. I wonder how the Swiss would react if their countrymen went to Team New Zealand? I doubt they'd be happy about it too.

Dear mgavardi, we're monopolized America's cup!About James Cook,I reccomend you to read his Diaries of board.Unfortunately in italian language I didn't find the complete translation but anyway are super. The first contacts with others people, new lands, is all magic is like to see "live" a landing in a far planet.Oh, if would be possible come back through the time I would like to be there.Again good wind everybody

Yes I know him but I didn't read this book yet (thanks for the suggestion!) but I know also the romantic French B. Moitessier, the pitturesque Italian G. Soldini, the brave UK Ellen MC Arthur, the Great and unforgettable NZ Sir Peter Blake....and what about the incredible James Cook...? As of today nobody touched the same latitudes with a sailing boat..all unique Sailors without borders! Ciao and good wind!
